What is membership-based primary care?
Patients pay the practice directly for a defined set of primary care services. The membership is not health insurance.
Is Cary Primary Care open now?
No. Cary Primary Care is preparing for a planned Fall 2026 opening and is not currently accepting patients.
What is included in adult membership?
Planned benefits include an annual preventive exam, routine primary care, telehealth when appropriate, priority acute appointments when available, chronic-condition follow-up, medication management, and care coordination.
How does family pricing work?
The planned structure is $119 per enrolled adult and $49 per dependent child under 18 with an enrolled parent, with a planned eligible household maximum of $299 per month.
Do I still need insurance?
Yes. Patients should maintain appropriate insurance or another coverage arrangement for emergencies, hospitalization, specialists, imaging, prescriptions, and outside procedures.
How do labs work?
When clinically appropriate, orders may be sent to outside laboratories. Laboratory charges depend on insurance and available cash-pay arrangements.
Will telehealth be available?
Yes, for concerns that can be safely and appropriately evaluated virtually.
Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications?
GLP-1 and other weight-management medications may be considered after an individualized clinical assessment. Prescribing is not guaranteed.
