Choose the appointment type that fits your needs and select an available time through our secure booking page.

02

Provider Review

We review the information provided with your booking to make sure Cary Primary Care is an appropriate fit for your healthcare needs. If additional information is needed, we'll contact you.

03

Complete Setup & Establish Care

Before or around your first visit, Cary Primary Care will request the information needed to set up the appropriate membership and payment method. Your first visit focuses on your health history, medications, preventive care needs, and current concerns so we can build a plan for ongoing care.

04

Use Us for Primary Care

Once established, contact us for routine care, new health concerns, medication refills, and follow-up. Care may be provided in the office, by telehealth, or through messaging when appropriate.

A simpler primary care relationship

Know where to start when something comes up.

Once established, Cary Primary Care is your primary source for routine primary care. When you have a concern, contact us first and we will help determine the most appropriate next step.

Routine primary carePreventive visits, follow-up, and management of common ongoing conditions.
Acute concernsSame-day or next-day appointments when available and clinically appropriate.
TelehealthVirtual care when an in-person examination is not necessary.
Outside careCoordination with labs, imaging, specialists, urgent care, and other healthcare services when needed.

Keep your insurance

Membership does not replace health insurance.

You can continue using insurance for prescriptions, labs, imaging, specialists, emergency care, hospitalization, and other outside services. Charges from outside providers are separate from your Cary Primary Care membership.

Office or telehealth

The right type of visit for the concern.

Telehealth is included with membership for established patients when clinically appropriate. It may be used for certain follow-ups, medication discussions, review of results, and health concerns that can be safely evaluated virtually.

If your provider determines that a physical examination, testing, or other in-person evaluation is needed, you may be asked to schedule an office visit or seek another appropriate level of care. Telehealth visits are scheduled clinical visits and are not an emergency or on-demand service.

Urgent & emergency care

Know when to seek a higher level of care.

Cary Primary Care is designed for routine primary care, ongoing health concerns, and many common illnesses. We are not an urgent care or emergency service.

If your condition requires more immediate evaluation than we can provide, we'll direct you to an appropriate urgent care, emergency department, or other level of care.

Medical emergencies

For a medical emergency or potentially serious or time-sensitive symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not send a message to Cary Primary Care and wait for a response.

After hours

Established members may contact the practice when a concern arises outside normal office hours, but an immediate or 24/7 response is not guaranteed. Non-urgent messages may be addressed the next business day.
